Very desolate not a good place for yuppies. Very little phone service and none half the time.
Excellent camping. Don't miss the acient buffalo bones exhibit and tour. They do a great job.
Lots of private land unfortunately. Nebraska doesn't like the idea of BLM like other states do.
Wasn't bad. We drove through on our way to toadstool park.
I've camped here twice in the last year. Fantastic views, only downside is that the train along Toadstool Road does come through frequently. Roads are dirt or grass so be careful if you have a nice car - we have an old Subaru so it performed very well. There are lots of cacti here, so be careful where you step!
